Framework not installed error

Shortcuts save time and increase productivity, and hotkeys are no exception. When paired with the F n key, hotkeys are keys that allow you to perform special functions without going into the settings. These keys have a box around a symbol, word, or number to highlight their special function.

Normally, hotkey drivers are pre-installed and run automatically on startup, but sometimes they will unexpectedly quit running and need to be re-installed. This is what causes the HP Software Framework error that you see above. This may happen when you update drivers or install new programs, or during automatic Windows Updates. You don't even have to uninstall the old driver first. When the error message pops up, you're prompted to install the HP Software Framework from the link provided.

I get nervous when in the registry and only having long number strings to identify what you are looking at. Usually the registry cleaners will notify you if there are shared entries with other software and if so you should get a chance to leave the shared entry or let the cleaner take care of it.

I have used JV16 Power Tools for a number of years and it works quite well. I do like the JV 16 Power Tools product as it has a registry compression function that will eliminate all of the unassociated "stubs" so that the size of the registry can be reduced. Like most registry tools, there is a danger associated with using a tool that might have bugs.

I am having the exact same issue. I have used revo to uninstall the programs and the registry files, then downloaded the latest support assistant file from the HP site. During the install I get the same message as the above user about locating the msi file. Any idea? Go to Microsoft at the link below. Then reinstall it. Revo Unistaller did not work.
